CEO provides statistics and data to site location consultants and individuals interested in learning more about Alachua County. The Bureau of Economic and Business Research (BEBR) is an applied research center in the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida, and provides a wealth of economic and demographic data related to Alachua County.
CEO also collects cost of living data specific to Gainesville/Alachua County, which is critical to site selection. CEO then forwards this information to The Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER), where the ACCRA Cost of Living Index is published. Through CEO's existing industry department, the organization stays abreast of the needs and issues facing businesses in Alachua County by conducting surveys with senior leadership and managers of existing industries. The CEO Business Insight survey has been developed to capture, analyze and provide reporting tools to establish a company’s value to the community, growth potential, risk of downsizing or relocating and satisfaction and employment trends.
